Columbus Club Information
La Sure’s Catering is the exclusive caterer for the Columbus in Oshkosh. Located at 1821 Jackson St. on the north side of Oshkosh. The Columbus Club of Oshkosh offers two Banquet halls. The West Hall which is the newest hall with seating from 200 to 400 for dinner and the East Hall which seats 100 to 150 for dinner. For smaller parties the also offer the Knights room which seats up to 70.
West Hall Minimum 200 up to 400 guests Room charge for west hall $525.00 Includes 8ft buffet tables. There is a $50.00 charge for using round tables. Head table up to 24 (not on risers)
East Hall Minimum 100 up to 150 guests Room charge for east hall $375.00 All buffet tables. Head table up to 12 (not on risers)
Knights Room Room charge of $50.00. Minimum 30 up to 70 guests All buffet tables.
Table Coverings & Linens All tables are covered in paper for no extra charge. Champagne colored linen tablecloths are available for $3.25 each. Champagne colored linen napkins are available for .50 each. Other linen napkin colors are available please ask.
Decorating Decorating as required is done by the bridal party or decorator between 9 & 11 am that morning. The Columbus Club does have a church card box available to rent for $10.00.
Cake Cutting Policy Cake must come from a licensed bakery. Delivery for wedding cakes is 9 to 11 am the day of the event. If it is cut right after dinner and it’s a La Sure’s Cake there is no Charge. If it is from somewhere else, cake cutting charge is $100.00 charge.
Bar Services There is a separate contract for the Columbus Club for hall & bar services.Hall rental & bar services payments are to be paid to the Columbus Club. Bar Services are arranged thru La Sure’s
All food is catered by La Sure's Hall Banquets & Catering, 1570 Ripon Lane, Oshkosh, WI 54902. A separate contract and down payment is required for the food through La Sure's. No other food is allowed to be catered into the Columbus Club.
Payment-For social functions, a deposit will be required upon signing the contract, with full estimated charges paid in full two weeks in advance of scheduled event. For business functions, we ask that your account be paid in full the day of your event, unless credit has been approved. Changes can be made up to 72 hours before the event. All additional charges must be paid for in full upon completion of the event.
Deposit & Cancellation Policy for Social Functions or any Function Over 150 people. A deposit is required to hold any ballroom or combination of ballrooms when the event contract is signed. In the event of a cancellation the following fees will be assessed. Cancellations received more than 12 months before your event will result in loss of your deposit unless La Sure's can resell the space at the Columbus Club for equal or greater value at least 12 months before your event. Cancellations received less than 12 months up 2 weeks before your event will result in the loss of your total deposits. In the event cancellation occurs within 2 weeks of your event, 100% of the estimated revenue is due and payable upon receipt of cancellation.
Deposit and Cancellations for Business events under 150 people. Cancellations received in writing less than 14 days notice of scheduled function(s) will be subject to 25% of revenue of said function(s) unless a function(s) of equal or greater value is rebooked for the same day and time of equal or greater value.
Other Policies No glitter, rice, confetti, silly string, birdseed or blowing bubbles are permitted. Absolutely no tape or tacks are allowed for decorating on the bingo board, walls or ceiling. No open flamed candles are permitted per state code. If management feels there is excessive debris or refuge left over for any function there will be a cleanup fee of $50.00 per hour charged to the bill. Damage to the hall is the responsibility of the sponsors it will be charged to your bill. Any items or individual property left at the Columbus Club and can be picked up on the Monday after the event between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm, after that time it will be disposed of. Checks not cleared by the bank will be subject to legal action and penalty. All functions must end by 12:00 am midnight unless otherwise pre-arranged
